GARDEN OF SOLIDARITY

The artist engages the visitors with information on racial discrimination with reference to the Covid 19 pandemic. He then creates a print of his own hand raised in solidarity and invites visitors to help him create a ‘Garden of Solidarity’ to challenge discrimination of any sort – be it gender, color, region, religion or any other identity based.

The performance, resulted in the production of a 300 x 100 cm negative print of hands raised in solidarity. 

This performance was a sequel to the earlier performance, ‘MASKED IDENTITY IN COLOR / COLORED IDENTITY IN MASK’.
