Train Song 1

A predefined algorithm is used to re-construct an encounter with a passing train. The repetitions and a slightly altered perspective transform a routine and insignificant event, from the singular experience of its existence in the moment of its happening, to a sensual reminiscence.  It also brings out the potential music that lies within the mundane.

The multi-layered video was an experiment in externalizing a personal thought process – splitting of thoughts into multiple strands.
