Dies dient der effizienteren Aneignung der Zeit der Menschen in Form der Stechuhr und Optimierung industrieller Arbeitsprozesse. In der Disziplinargesellschaft noch durch externen Zwang, vollziehen wir die Selbst-Optimierung in der Kontrollgesellschaft durch Gewöhnung und Verinnerlichung geradezu von selbst.“

“Parvez’s Floor Clock, made from trash, that calls us to relax, refers to the homogenizing quantification of time beyond all biorhythms.
