A durational, site and socio-specific work evolving since 2019.
It transforms the space into performative one. Visitors trigger the performance by entering the space. The artist offers his special Menu (4 pages long at the last iteration at Kunsthalle Basel, 2025) that list out his signature ‘Food-for-thought’ dishes.
Whether one orders a dish or merely goes through the Menu, an encounter is likely to get activated. It may also result in hour long interactions and conversations between strangers and friends alike. Q BAR is a space to step away from the routine.
