An interactive and playful machine that is designed to measure and calculate the colonial burden. A set of instructions are placed nearby to guide the visitors on how to use the machine. The result, which is both displayed and announced by the machine, allows one to reflect and introspect upon its meaning.
Parvez’s long term engagement with (neo)colonialism has resulted in a variety of works in different media. Each work offers a unique way engaging with the subject.
